Exciting Developments in Our Lab!
We are thrilled to welcome Aurélie Mawart to our research family! Recently hired as a research associate, Aurélie is set to delve into the fascinating world of immune exosomal therapeutics. Her collaborative spirit will shine as she works closely with Dr. Anna-Maria Pappa and her dynamic team at Khalifa University. Not only has Aurélie quickly adapted to our lab's dress codes, but she has also brought a delightful energy to our team—she's already treating us to some delicious snacks!
Welcome Back, Noura Sayed!
We are equally excited to welcome back Noura Sayed, who has returned to our lab after successfully passing her PhD qualifying exams at NYU Tandon. After a year of hard work and dedication, Noura is back with renewed vigor, ready to focus on her research and work toward her thesis. Her passion and commitment are sure to inspire us all!
Our Growing Lab Community
As our lab continues to flourish, we are pleased to announce that we have expanded our team and secured additional lab space to accommodate our growing number of members. This achievement is a testament to the vibrant research community we are building at NYUAD and a reflection of our collective dedication to advancing science. Don't forget our new coffee machine!

A Milestone Celebration
Finally, we are overjoyed to celebrate a significant milestone in our lab's journey. After an impressive 7.5 years of dedication and hard work, our Principal Investigator, Jeremy Teo, has been promoted to associate professor and granted tenure! This well-deserved recognition highlights his commitment to excellence in research and mentorship, and we couldn't be more proud of his accomplishments.
As we embark on this exciting chapter, we look forward to the innovative research and collaborative efforts that lie ahead. Here's to new beginnings, continued growth, and groundbreaking discoveries!
