How things can changed, rather quickly

I was back home, my Alma Mater (#nationaluniversityofsingapore), for my sabbatical. Getting in touch with old colleagues, old professors, and old classmates. I was going to refresh my research mind and my academic career for this semester.

Within a few days, news, social media, and texts I received would change LIBRA's world. I've penned my thoughts through those early days in this LinkedIn post.

In the midst of it all, albeit with some changes in our research mindset, the team is still on the ground, making science happen. While the greater academic world accelerates on, LIBRA and those affected are still pursuing and contributing to science in any way or form, exemplary of the "shut up, suit up, show up" mantra.

All this is possible only through the efforts of our host country, the #UAE, in keeping all residents safe.
