Anna to MARS! Analog

Huge congrats to our former postdoc, Anna Sabaté Garcia , on her selection for the Hypatia III Mars Analog mission! 🚀

During her time at the LIBRA lab New York University Abu Dhabi, Anna was the driving force behind our space biology research. She pioneered our work using simulated microgravity, conceptualizing the awarded Research Enhancement Fund that allowed us a random positioning machine, and ultimately leading to several key publications on immune dysfunction and even a patent-pending method to enhance stem cells.

Anna, we’re so proud to see you taking this giant leap toward the Red Planet. Ad astra! 🌌
